Creative Springs is a full-service marketing agency in Florida, and we’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development & Marketing Account Manager
to join our team! Our company is a fun, fast-paced environment that relies on collaboration to produce innovative work. You’ll be joining a team composed of the most creative, interesting, and talented marketing professionals in the business. We’re looking for a Business Development & Marketing Account Manager with experience in an agency setting and the desire to be a driving force in the growth of our agency. You’ll work within the framework of a supportive team that will depend on you to lead them in the execution of ongoing account tasks, while simultaneously leading clients’ planning, campaigns, strategies, events and activations.
What You’ll Do
- Account Management & Brand Strategy
- Create and lead marketing strategies to support the clients overall initiatives. These strategies can range from content strategy, tradeshow design, website builds, traditional media, PR, influencer marketing, and digital/social media.
- Drive marketing strategy for B2B and B2C clients.
- House the overall brand strategy for the client & show how all pieces of the marketing campaign work together to support the clients goals.
- Business Development
- Participate in new business development efforts including creation of proposals, attending prospective client meetings and onboarding new clients.
- Drive new business growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value client opportunities across target industries.
- Represent the agency at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to build relationships and generate qualified leads.
- Collaborate with internal strategy and creative teams to align new business opportunities with agency capabilities and positioning.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key decision-makers through business dinners, events, and ongoing communication.
- Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Showcase the rationale behind the strategy, break down the analytics and showcase the marketing work being executed.
- Be able to answer client questions and break down marketing tactics.
- Negotiate contracts, determine areas to grow business within existing accounts and close agreements to maximize profits.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.
- Project Management
- Create client and creative briefs that outline all necessary details for the team to be able to execute the creative work needed.
- Manage day-to-day operations of client accounts including strategic campaigns, events, planning, reporting and more to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our marketing solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
- Develops tactical project elements, including creative strategy briefs, timelines, budget estimates, research, and program analysis.
Job Requirements:
- Out of state travel will be required up to 2-3 times per month
- Meet and exceed revenue targets through a commission-based structure tied to new client acquisition and growth.
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Strong presentation and sales ability
- Previous experience working for a marketing agency
- Previous experience working in or for manufacturing industries
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- The ability to finesse delicate client relationships
- The ability to adapt and to take initiative
- The ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Pay and Compensation Package
- Annual Salary: Base salary + Commission
- $25/month Aflac health benefit match (vision, dental, short term leave, etc.)
- Note, full health insurance not available
- Retirement: 401K match up to 4% of your salary (contributed weekly)
- PTO: 3 weeks of combined PTO/Sick Time
- Holidays: 9 company determined paid holidays
